  • This is a short non-guided ritual used as a warm-up at the beginning of a longer ritual. I call it "welcome ritual" because I think of it more of a ritual where you welcome and become aware of both your physical and emotional state, welcome and become aware of the space around you and, welcome whatever energy you might have at the moment. This ritual could be performed either with background music or without it.

  • This is a short version of the long Bare Character - as I call it when working with actors - or Bare State ritual. A meditative state achieved by delayering ourselves assisted by our breath. This is a guided ritual performed in silence to allow us to listen to our bodies and breath. The difference between this ritual and most meditation practices is that of "movement". Since this ritual was originally devised by actors for actors, being able to move during the ritual es essential. Non-movers are always welcome to meditate in the usual lotus pose.

  • These are the main or the core rituals in a longer focusing ritual. During these rituals we "gather" the energy by focusing it on a particular sense or energy capacitor/center. These are non-guided rituals and more importantly: explorations - so there are no rules about how you perform the ritual or how many senses or energy capacitors you need to involved to achieve the final goal: gathering and focusing the energy. These could be performed in silence or using background music.

  • After focusing the energy some people might want to "transmute" this energy into another "form" of energy. The most common: transmuting what I call "explosive energy" - as the name suggest this is the kind of energy that makes you want to explode, to dance, to jump, to scream, etc. - into "potential energy" - an energy stored in your body that keeps you alive inside but that it's also available to become "explosive" when you need it. I don't believe in "cool downs" or much less getting rid of the energy you gathered during the session, that's why I encourage people to "transmute" the energy instead. Other common case in my practice is transmuting the energy into "creative energy". This is a guided ritual and it's performed in silence - most of the time.

  • Depending on the longer ritual, this ritual would take place after the "energy transmuting ritual" or in place of. Whether you choose to transmute the energy or not, you need to "center" and come down to what I call an "energy plateau" before the end of the session. This is a guided ritual and it's performed without music.
