We - a photographer friend and I - had tried everything to get this client - a referral from a dating site - to stop posing like he was auditioning for a mobster movie, until I had to say … you might want to be more approachable, show who you are … to what he responded: “if being myself had taken me anywhere I wouldn’t need a dating site, would I? - GL
THE SEEKER
He stood in the middle of the studio staring at me as I stared back at him waiting for some sort of signal from him. After an uncomfortable silence - for him not for me - he finally asked: aren’t you going to tell me what to do? To which I answered: I’m just waiting for you to take the lead. - GL
